I went to this pub yesterday with my elderly mother (with mobility difficulties is a great ramp straight into the pub so very accessible for anyone ) and my dog ted -I admit we were tempted when we drove past to go to the supermarket by the £10 main course sign we all got such a warm welcome ted had a personal bowl of water and treats within two mins of sitting down, we both opted for the cheese omelette and chips (we declined the included side salad -personal preference) (please note I've eaten half of mine on the picture - mum enjoyed a beer shandy and I had lemonade and lime.We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere so much we stayed for a caramel and apple pie with custard (me and ice cream for mum)very tasty and a lovely time had at this jewel of a pub I would be more than happy to go in there on my own as a single person please support this brilliant friendly place as we all know pubs need the business right now you won't be sorry food was gorgeous.ps how cute are the scissors to open the sauce sachets (never seen that before -such a good idea). Very plesently suprised with this little gem of a pub/restarant. Had a ticket for a theater show in Norwich so looked up nearby restarants and found the Farmhouse. On arival we had a very warm welcome with table service. Food arrived very quickly and it look delicous. Very large portion sizes and reasonable prices. Mum had steak pie well ive never seen so much meat in a pie! The wife had hunters chicken and i choose the beer batered fish and chips. This was the only slight disapointment as the chip were more like fries would have prefered thick cut chips. Still all the food was lovley. We will definatly be coming back next time we come to Norwich. One small gripe they didnt except the Blue light discout card but still 4.5 stars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
