Blonde-haired member of staff sneakily selected and added a tip at the end of my card transactions, rather than allowing me to choose “no tip” or select a percentage myself. Tips are discretionary in the UK and cannot simply be charged without the customer’s knowledge and informed consent. Under UK consumer protection law, businesses must be transparent about charges and cannot impose hidden or misleading fees. Completely unacceptable and 'Flawd' practice, check the total carefully before tapping your card

I don't like this trend of automatically adding a service charge on the bill at bars. We only ordered a glass of wine, where exactly is the service apart from doing the bare minimum of just handing us what we ordered. If you are going to do this, please do what other bars offer which is the option of selecting 'no tip' when paying. I know most will say you can ask for this to be removed, but let's be honest, most people are far too polite to do this! Wine was okay, although i feel that prices reflect the location of the venue more than the quality of the wine. I can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. Price per person: £1–10 Atmosphere: 4
