All head to MARCHETTI, where the service and food/drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. I Wouldn't even give Galao 1 star now for the awful rude experience I just went through with my 7month old baby, by the bearded guy behind the counter. I've been in many times before and enjoyed the latte's but this time after ordering a slice of cake, then asking if I could swap it for another as it tasted very dry and not fresh at all, hesitantly he did. Not the first person who's said this by the way, looking at your other reviews. Maybe you should store them differently, as she suggested. I ordered my coffee, a pistachio cappuccino then instantly corrected myself for the pistachio latte, the young polite women did hear me and corrected this, I thought anyway, I know what the pistachio latte tastes like I've had it before. I said sorry but I'm sure this is a cappuccino She took it back and I then overheard the bearded man say "don't be afraid to say it" She came back and told me he wouldn't serve me anymore! I had just got my baby out of the pram, comfortably seated. I went over baby in arms and asked why he felt the need to say this, and told me he wasn't going serve negative feedback, I said I've been here plenty of times and enjoyed the lattes, he continued to tell me yeah I've been in a make a complaint nearly everytime! Which is absolute rubbish I wouldn't go there at all if that was the case. I left and just told him I think its disgustingly rude the way he has just told a mother and her young baby to basically not return, all because he can't accept a little negative feedback. He obviously had to go real low in order to make him self feel superior. Well done because now you have a a whole mum group who will not be returning to your dry establishment. I'll say it again head to MARCHETTI on Stansted road people. You will not regret it, biggest regret I had when I chose Galao on this particular day.
