I’ve had fish and chips a number of times from here, and it never disappoints. Tonight i tried the pizza.. and this is where the disappoint set in. For the price of the pizza it was mostly crust. Inedible hard crust. I found when i picked the first slice up that most of the toppings rolled off back into the box because the dough in the centre of the pizza wasn’t thick enough. The toppings were also clumped and not spread well. Will absolutely not be back for pizza. I’ll add that i understand some people may fancy this style of pizza, and maybe not the type of pizza that i would generally prefer. Good Catch may even make a stellar pizza normally, as it was heaving busy and maybe i got one quickly assembled without the same care as a slower period of time would get. But still no excuse for something that poorly put together in my opinion. I worked in restaurants for 2 decades and grew up in a family that made its name from pizza, and so i know what good and bad looks like regardless of style. I’d rate the fish and chips a solid 4 out of 5, and the pizza a 1, hence the overall rating of 3 for food.
