Absolutely stunning views great food and friendly staff, we had our little puppy with us and they were so accommodating and friendly, would definitely recommend this for parents with fur babies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Actually the food was ok but let down by the poor service. The young staff were under confident and the service we received was shambolic. It was 20 minutes after asking us if we wanted our main course now before the waiter came back and said the chef had run out of what we’d ordered. Then we were brought the bill for another table, after which he had 4 goes trying to correct our bill for the second choice meal. At one point the bar turned up with another glass of wine as the bill had been put through again!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food served at dinner at The Point restaurant in the Haven Hotel is really excellent. We ate both nights we stayed. The food was expensive but delicious. The view from the restaurant is wonderful. Virtually every table has a sea view. The service at the bar, where you had to queue for drinks was friendly but chaotic. Surprised that a four star hotel made you queue up for drinks. Service at the dinner table again was friendly but inefficient. Probably too few staff and lack of experience. There are lots of problems recruiting staff in hospitality these days. I would like to thank Alessi, who was very good.
