We are regular customers of this shop and frequently visit it. We have never experienced this kind of bad behavior from this shop before. We usually buy samun chicken shawarma and naan chicken shawarma and have never felt that they were bad. This time, the samun was reheated and given to us, and we thought it was the usual samun, but it was very bad and the quality was very poor. We went to the shop around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday (03/02). The people working there were very rude. Initially, when we called them, they said we could come back and get a new one. But when we went back, they responded impolitely and also said, "All the samun is hard. If you want, don't come to this shop." We have been to this shop nearly 10 times or more and have not experienced this kind of behavior before. It is totally demoralizing. The owner should kindly take some action. When we asked questions about the samun, they were giving fresh samun to their own friends for free, and they were teasing us by saying, "Samun is very soft." Very rude behavior to the core. We will never visit this shawarma shop anymore. They should change the name from "Fresh Shawarma" to "Manchester Rude Shawarma." Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Best shawarma on the curry mile and even Manchester imo. Guys at the front are sound and friendly, makes the experience better. The chicken samun with the salads and dips is just a go to. Prices are so reasonable too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi, I’m a regular customer at Manchester Shawarma. Today I have been forced to write this review. We visited today and there was a worker that was wearing a pair gloves that he used to clean the store with. Instead of changing his gloves, he washed them with just WATER. I kindly requested the staff member to change his gloves. The wear of the gloves colour had changed from blue to light blue. The staff member in a very rude manner declined and said ‘no’. We have seen the staff member clean the floor etc. We asked again and he declined. Then the other member of staff had to intervene and put on a new pair of gloves. The most disappointing part is that they had a whole gloves box there for them. Now gloves should be changed when cleaning and changed again when preparing food for the customers. On top of this he was justifying by saying he has washed his gloves, what about chemicals that have touched them (such as bleach). They don't simply wash off with water. My wife didn’t buy anything as she was concerned about the hygiene. Could I kindly request this to be looked into? As this is very unhygienic. It can also lose you customers.
