Stopped in for Sunday brunch with a friend after having positive experiences here for dinner in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. I ordered the chorizo sandwich with potatoes, and my friend ordered the bison burger with a side salad. After our food was dropped off, our server disappeared completely and never returned to check in. A few bites in, I realized my sandwich was missing the fried egg advertised on the menu. Since the burger and sandwich looked quite similar — and my friend’s burger appeared to have a fried egg on it — we started wondering if our orders had been mixed up. We spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find our server, but she was nowhere to be seen. Eventually, we flagged down another server who went to find her in the back. When we explained the issue and asked whether the orders may have been swapped, our server responded very coldly and without any apology. She simply asked if we “wanted something else.” After we said we just wanted the bills, she continued to stand there silently and stare at us for an awkward amount of time before eventually stating that she had rang in the orders correctly and it may have been the kitchen staff who made the mistake. She later brought the bills with a 15% discount applied. The food itself was adequate but nothing memorable, especially considering we weren't given what we each ordered. Overpriced for the quality of food (potatoes were bland and unseasoned). Though the restaurant wasn't even full, noise level was very loud and made it difficult to hear my friend across the table. Between the inattentive service and the unfriendly response to the restaurant staff's mistake, we won’t be returning. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Brunch
