Had an amazing meal at Mi'hito Japanese Kitchen! This is such a fun spot in Mississauga with a menu that goes way beyond your typical Japanese restaurant. They have everything from sushi, sashimi and poke bowls to creative hot dishes, so there’s definitely something for every craving. We started with the Chef's Signature Nigiri Sushi, which featured beautifully prepared pieces of fresh fish with great texture and flavour. The Torched Salmon Set was another standout — the salmon had that delicious lightly seared, smoky flavour while still being tender and buttery. The Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was fresh, colourful and packed with flavour, with the tuna having a nice clean taste and texture. The Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab was crispy on the outside while keeping that delicate crab flavour inside — definitely a fun dish to share. The Chicken Karaage was juicy and crispy with a really satisfying crunch, and the Chicken Carbonara Udon was probably one of the most unique dishes we tried. The thick, chewy udon noodles worked surprisingly well with the rich, creamy carbonara sauce and tender chicken. We finished with the Unagi Fried Rice, which was savoury, aromatic and loaded with that sweet and smoky grilled eel flavour. It was a great way to finish the meal. I really enjoyed how Mi'hito puts its own creative spin on Japanese food while still offering the classics. Everything we tried was flavourful, fresh and well presented. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk from Cineplex near Hurontario Street and Highway 401, making it a great option before or after a movie. Definitely recommend checking out Mi'hito if you're looking for a Japanese restaurant in Mississauga!
