The toppings and different flavors are really good, but the bread itself needs some improvement. It was a bit dry and crumbly. I was hoping for a softer, fluffier ensaymada. With a better bread texture, this would be amazing. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Wife and I really wanted to experience Filipino culture so stopped in to Nette's to try ensaymadas after lunch. The place got really busy while we were there so it seems really popular. We ordered two ensaymadas - one almond and one ube. The inside was a bit denser/dryer than what I expected given the description of ensaymadas online, but maybe we just don't know enough about it to know. I really enjoyed the almond, but we weren't the biggest fans of the ube one. I think the shredded cheese on top makes it a bit too cheesey for our tastes. I can't wait to try more from different spots to compare. We also ordered one of the ube de leche halo halo drinks to try. Wasn't my thing personally, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into making it with so many ingredients. Price per person: CA$1–10

It feels and tastes like home!!! This Halo-halo is very refreshing and has multi-layered flavours and textures, making it my favourite treat. Nette's Cafe Halo-Halo is well-loved, that's why I have to experience it myself. This Halo-halo was layered with various ingredients (you will have to go get it yourself so you'll know the ingredients im talking about!). The combination of smooth icy, creamy, chewy, crunchy, sweet, and syrupy elements creates a truly unique and satisfying experience. It's perfect for hot weather and can be enjoy on any type of weather by choice.
