I’ve walked past Northern Soul Manchester many times over the years and always thought it looked like a cool spot, but never stopped by - well today that changed and I’m so glad too. My experience - attentive, friendly and enthusiastic service from Nay and his colleagues, a tasty toasty packed with cheese pulls, served with a gigantic biscoff shake which knocked my shake connoisseur socks off, what more could I have asked for. I’ll be seeing you again soon Northern Soul Mcr. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are looking for a grilled cheese sandwich on speed then this is your place. Various varieties of grilled cheese await but that’s not all. The fried chicken sandwiches are a sight to behold. I went for the lamb kebab grilled cheese and it was fantastic. My pal went with the BBQ pork which also got the thumbs up. We also went with a side of carbonara tater tots which on the one hand were delicious but in my opinion not £9.50 worth of delicious! Service was lovely and our two lovely waitresses were attentive and super chatty. Both were ready with helpful recommendations. We sat outside which was fine. I’m glad I went as an experience but now I must go and get a refill on my statins! Bill was £56 with tip for two grilled cheese. One tater tots a beer and a cider. We left full and glad for the experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Menu is good. Not extensive like other places. We ordered the chicken burger and the New Yorker with a side of buffalo hot wings. Waitress was lovely. Food was amazing. Would definitely go back! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
