Amazing , beautiful and delightful place where one can have delicious varieties of seafood items at reasonable prices and prompt and punctual service as well. Highly recommended.

We have been to Point No Point for our honeymoon 30 years ago. Staying in a cottage in oceanfront garden property in Sooke we booked the dinner table at PNP last night.
Allegedly gluten free options petered out to a chicken dish. The appetizer scallops were good but the albacore tuna main course was old frozen piece, thickly crusted and with indescribably tasting very thick sauce. The albacore was "bone" dry in spite of the 2mm crust. The veggies were overdone and wilted. It was missing rice, which was so tastefully served with the scallops but not with the albacore.
The chicken was your average dish.

Overall, the only positive experience was the waitress who was very busy but still managed to be efficient and friendly.

Considering the food quality, the PNP restaurant was the only flop in our 30-year anniversary stay in Sooke. Certainly not worth the money and the 1/2 hour drive from Sooke.

We do not recommend to eat there.

Stunning. We had wanted to go for at least one high-end romantic meal when we were in Sooke area and debated long and hard between this place and Sooke Harbour House. We chose Point no Point and it was definitely the right decision (we did scope Harbour House out which also confirmed our decision)! The view is absolutely breathtaking as we were able to watch a soaring eagle above magnificent waves crashing on the shore where a seal was popping up and down. It's a very small quaint place and it fills up almost immediately so be sure to make a reservation! The food and service were also incredible. We shared the beets/potato latke dish, which was delightful. My wife had the roasted chicken breast, which was also really good and perfectly cooked, although it could have used a bit more seasoning and the goat cheese was hard to find. I had the lamb, which was some of the best tasting lamb I've ever had. Definitely recommended and a highlight of our vacation. Be sure to include it in your meal plans!!!
