What a great place, great menu, great value, amazing food. I’ve just had the best tandoori mixed grill I’ve ever had, thats always my go to, wow this was superb, spicy but not overly, so juicy and succulent. I will return here. Also great allergen advice on the menu Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Be aware hidden extra costs First, there’s tap water already on the tables which you’d think is complimentary. Then, when we ordered poppadoms £1 each which are relatively small He brought out the standard sauces that go with the poppadoms, but you’re then charged extra for the sauces which you’re not told about As for the food hardly any chicken! I basically had a bowl of tikki soup! The side order came in a very small flat dish.. and my children could have eaten more rice than the half sized bowl it’s served in. We came away hungry, having to make food when we got home. We will never return because they’re not transparent with the prices and the food is overpriced for what you receive. It’s such a shame that businesses like this, who manipulate extra money, and provide less food for their customers can’t see that they are of their own demise! People are not stupid! When competition is so high, give the best quality and larger portion sizes! Give complimentary water! Don’t add hidden extra costs! If you value your customers with the best, you’ll be rewarded with a busy restaurant Screw your customers by giving very little and adding extra costs will bankrupt you! Price per person: £40–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

My sister and I tried to go to our regular Indian restaurant yesterday but it was fully booked.Disappointed, we crossed the road and got seated straight away in The Zaika Valley.We had never been before.We are avid foodies and have eaten in many, many Indian restaurants all over the world (including India) and I can honestly say that TZV’s food was absolutely amazing.The taste was outstanding and the creative presentation was so exciting.A lovely contemporary twist while staying true to wonderful, authentic Indian flavours.Top class.So happy to have discovered it and it’s now our new ‘go to’ Indian restaurant!We can’t wait to try all the dishes.
