This was one of the most absurd customer service experiences I’ve had at a Starbucks. My kids asked for pup cups in the drive thru, something many Starbucks locations happily provide. The supervisor refused unless she could physically see a dog in the car. When we said it was for the kids, she said the same tiny cup of whipped cream would cost over $3 but would be free if it was for a dog. So apparently whipped cream is free for animals but not for children. We come here regularly and spend at least $15 every visit, yet this supervisor decided to invent arbitrary rules and enforce them over something that should have been a simple, friendly request. If this is actually policy, it’s ridiculous. If it isn’t, management should probably look into why supervisors at this location feel comfortable making up rules and alienating regular customers. This Starbucks is located in a plaza and its a bit tricky to get into as the parking is very busy and there was quite a bit of snow, but the location is efficient and staff is friendly and coffee is good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
