I went with my friend and we had afternoon tea. Obviously the tea was amazing. The service was perfect (which I was quite worried about after seeing other reviews ). The staff could not be more helpful and polite. The setting is beautiful and great location. Afternoon tea was okay, not the best I've had but quite nice. macaroons were really nice.

We were very disappointed about the service we had at TWG Leicester Square and would not recommend it to anyone. We booked a table for 12:30 pm on Sunday and were offered a menu which stated tea time was available from 2pm to 6pm. Originally we wanted to have afternoon tea but after seeing that, we ordered from the lunch menu instead. When we had our food, we saw that the guests at the table behind us were having afternoon tea. We then asked the waitress about it and she said afternoon tea was available from 11:30am and “you should have asked us”. We were really angry - how could we suppose to know to ask whilst your menu clearly states 2-6? Very disappointed about the service we received. The lunch was not worth it at all. Would not return for sure. We went to the one in Hong Kong and the qualify of food and service there was on another level.
