Decided to order out and give this new place a try and im so glad we did! At first bite, I was surprised at how fresh the doner tasted! Even the bread seemed like it was made in house and/or super fresh. Good amount of meat, pickles and cilantro and not overly loaded with sauces. I'll be ordering from this place again in the future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am very impressed and would highly recommend this place. As a foodie, I value creativity, consistency, and excellent service, and Tahini's Surrey delivers on all three. I had the Habibi Chicken Bowl, and it was outstanding. The warm, perfectly cooked rice, flavorful chicken, delicious sauces, and carefully balanced spices all came together beautifully. The creativity behind the flavors was evident, and the execution was excellent. I'm truly grateful to the amazing team whose hard work and dedication make this place special. My experience with everyone working there was outstanding from start to finish. I will definitely be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was excited to try the shawarma poutine, but unfortunately it was disappointing. For a dish that cost around $15, I expected much better quality and portions. The biggest issue was the lack of vegetables. There were only a few pieces scattered throughout, and it felt like they were being added very sparingly. Looking at the bowl, the toppings and vegetables were not balanced with the amount of fries. The fries themselves were another letdown. They were hard, seemed like they had been sitting for a while, and did not taste fresh. A good shawarma poutine should have hot, crispy, fresh fries and generous toppings for what a customer pays for. Overall, the portion presentation looked appealing at first, but the quality and value simply were not there. Unfortunately, I don’t feel this meal was worth the price paid. I hope the restaurant improves the freshness of the fries and becomes more generous with the toppings in the future. No one is asking for extra but give at least a customer pays for. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
