We have just attended the most wonderful New Years eve event at the George at Wath. Fully organised by the village community, with no help from the upper management whom also (run) the black a moor. Whom also refused to provide additional staff other than David. Who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the bar at the event. They seem to have not a care about the community that this pub is strongly supported by. I have no intention of supporting this management any further.

Visiting Harrogate Spring Show tomorrow, left it till the last minute to book a couple of nights away with my sister's, no rooms available or far too expensive in Harrogate . Staying at The George at Wath a great base for our trip, very friendly, the breakfasts are lovely, three of us in a family room, great value, can definitely recommend it
