My family had such an outstanding meal here on Saturday night that we booked to go back for the Sunday Sharer the following evening. Every member of staff we met was friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job and chatting with the customers. The décor is beautiful and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, by far the best pub meal we’ve had in a long time. The duck was cooked perfectly pink and the (huge!) apple crumble and chocolate brownie were wonderful. The Sunday Sharer was incredibly good value. There was a good variety of delicious veg and three kinds of tasty meat. My mum has a smaller appetite, so she shared ours and between three of us we still couldn’t eat all of it! The only disappointment was that we were so full that we couldn’t have dessert the second night. Service: 5

We visited the Huntsman twice whilst staying in the area. Stunning location, great food and some of the best customer service we've encountered. Cheerful, friendly, professional team with whom it was a pleasure to deal. An added bonus, the Cask Ale was in great condition! Will certainly visit again if in the area. Unable to comment on the rooms as we did not book accommodation. Service: 5
