If you are looking for a classic pub experience that strikes a balance between a cozy local watering hole and a professional dining environment, The Three Houses is well worth a visit. Having stopped by recently, I found the experience to be largely positive, defined mostly by the exceptional hospitality that sets it apart from many other establishments in the area. Service: The Standout Feature. The service during my visit was easily the highlight of the afternoon. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. It is rare to find a team that manages to be so welcoming without being overbearing, but the staff here have nailed that balance. Whether it was the speed of the drinks or the check-back during the meal, the four-star rating for service is well-deserved. It’s clear that the management prioritizes customer care, and it makes a significant difference in the overall enjoyment of the visit. Atmosphere & Interior. The pub boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you can see from the interior, it retains a traditional charm with comfortable seating and a layout that feels both spacious and intimate. It’s the kind of place where you feel just as comfortable settling in for a long Sunday lunch as you would popping in for a quick pint. The "vibe" is relaxed and unpretentious, which is exactly what you want from a community-focused pub. Food & Final Thoughts. While the food was enjoyable and satisfied our cravings, I’ve rated it a three-star experience simply because there is room for a bit more "wow" factor to bring it up to the level of the service.
