Driving through town on quite a long trip, thought I’d stop in to see if I could buy a bottle or can of soda and use the washroom. Upon entering I saw two bar tables blocking the lounge entrance and as I turned to leave a man came and asked if I needed help, I asked if they had a washroom I could use and he said no we don’t and then added “we’re not a sh*tter” Absolutely deplorable behaviour. I went to Chicken Chef in town & bought a drink and asked to use their bathroom. They were kind and helpful and apologized for the behaviour of the man at the Travelling Inn.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff and comfortable seating. Rooms are nice too.
