First time trying this fish and chip shop this evening as a family of 4 and we all thought it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered haddock and chips x 3 and battered sausage with chips, curry sauce, mushy peas and gravy plus drinks and it cost around £60 which I thought was reasonable. The young girl who served us was so friendly and professional and I personally thanked her before we left. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection! My husband said it was the nicest curry sauce from a chippy he's ever had and I agreed. Lots of tables outside that were full and people coming in the shop so I can't believe the bad reviews this place has to be honest because they're most definitely undeserved!! I was really looking forward to some good fish and chips, unfortunately, I didn't get that. I turned up on a Friday afternoon at 3pm when it was empty. The chips were disgusting as they had been re-fried and overcooked. The fish was very small and not very tasty. The curry sauce was nice, but that's all. The guy clearly didn't care what he was serving! The worst £13 I have ever spent.
