Went on a busy Friday night with a large group. The beer on tap is top notch and various pizza was available to order. Which made the night even better. For whatever reason, cell signal is very poor inside this pub. But I find that this is actually a blessing in disguise, as it forces you to socialise. Which is what the pub is all about! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

A real proper pub with a lively but good natured atmosphere on a Saturday evening. I met up with friends for an evening catching up and visiting pubs in central Manchester. We actually stayed in the Salisbury next to A A Oxford Road station the whole time as nearby Peveril was too packed when they'd got there and trip leader David estimated that everywhere would be too busy. The Salisbury was very busy and increasingly loud (Saturday night) but a nice pub, they got a table and the beer was excellent. Pints of Trooper, a bit strong but very well kept. Good choice of other drinks. A real mix of patrons of all ages, sex and type. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: My meat eater friends also thought the vegetarian pizza was good Dietary restrictions: Had vegan options and catered clearly for different dietary requirements. Best to check the menu carefully then double check with staff as may vary from what your see online.
